The Lafayette Supplier Diversity Development Coalition named the Tippecanoe School Corporation as one of its Handshake Award recipients. The organization also recognized Purdue University's Physical Facilities Division and Indiana Oxygen as members who have partnerships that grow and develop women and minority owned businesses.
Tippecanoe County Commissioner Tracy Brown, Lafayette City Clerk Cindy Murray and West Lafayette Mayor John Dennis read a proclamation at the November 6 commissioners meeting. TSC Chief Financial Officer Amanda Brackett and Accounts Payable Processor Karmen Redinbo represented TSC and are pictured with Jesse Moore, the coalition director.
"It is an honor to be recognized by the Greater Lafayette Diversity Coalition for the Handshake Award," says Brackett. "We recognize the many suppliers of women, minority, and veteran owned businesses here in our community. We look forward to working with these suppliers as well as our fellow members of the coalition to educate our organization of diversity in the purchasing field."
