What an exciting start to the school year! At Dayton Elementary, our mission statement is "Creating a Community of Learners and Leaders." Ask your child if they can recite the mission statement. Students are learning that a mission statement drives what we do every day. All students are learning about leadership and how to help create a leadership culture in our school.  Every classroom will then develop their own mission statement. Stay tuned for a 7 Habits parent night where we will explain this initiative in detail.
