Community Thanksgiving Meals If you do not have plans on Thanksgiving or things are a bit tight and need a little extra help Lafayette offers some Free Community Thanksgiving meals that you are able to volunteer at or just come and enjoy a Free Thanksgiving meal.
*Greater Lafayette Interfaith Community Thanksgiving Celebration. Central Presbyterian Church 12:00-2:00 pm
*Mount Hope Church 1201 Main Street, Lafayette 12:00-2:00 pm Food Drive Dayton is having a canned food drive on December 3rd through the 14th. Please help us reach our goal of 500 pounds. The class that collects the most food will receive a pizza party! We will donate all food to Food Finders in Lafayette. Below you will find a list of the most needed items. Coat Collection With the colder weather, it has come to our attention that we have many kids here at Dayton that do not have coats, hats, and gloves. Dayton is collecting new and slightly used coats, hats, and gloves for our Dayton students in need. Please send your donation in to the front office. We thank you for your help!
Yearbook Contest Congratulations to Eden Dimmitt! Eden's yearbook cover was selected for our 2018-2019 yearbook. We had lots of great entries! Bulldog Spirit Wear PTO is doing a Bulldog Spirit Wear. Look for forms to come home today. You may order online at https://dayton2018.itemorder.com/sale or return paper form and payment. Paper orders and payments must be received by Friday, December 7 and online orders must be placed by Monday, December 10 to ensure delivery before winter break. Pancakes With Santa & Holiday Craft Show Please join us on Saturday, December 8 for an all you can eat pancake breakfast with Santa from 8:30-11:30 am. You can pre-order tickets on line at DAYTONINPTO.WIXSITE.COM/DAYTONPTO or return the pre-order form to the office by Monday, December 3. Adults $4 pre-order, $5 day of event Children- $2 pre-order, $3 day of event 4 child payment cap Entry to the craft & vendor show is free for all! Events are open to the public.
Lil' Mavs Boys Basketball McCutcheon Lil' Mavs basketball program for 5th & 6th grade boys will have a skill day on Sunday, January 6th from 12:00-1:45 pm. Lafayette Christmas Parade Every year letter carriers walk in the Lafayette Christmas parade collecting letters to Santa. Come down to Main Street on Saturday, December 1st at 5:30 pm for the annual parade. Bring your letters to Santa and include your address because Santa loves to write back!
