Miss Sprunger's 2nd Grade Class:

Tuesday morning our class worked together to make 23 dog and cat beds to donate to Natalie's Second Chance and to the Almost Home Humane Society. A retired teacher, Mrs. Peters, wrote a grant to get materials to make these beds. Upon completing the beds, each child received a t-shirt to keep from the company that granted us the money. The company,Thrivent Financial, motto is live generously. It was printed on the t-shirt as a reminder that kindness and generosity help the world be a better place. Thanks to the volunteers Marge Sprunger, Jenni Farrand, Morgan Farrand, and Nancy Peters for helping us with this project.

Wea Ridge Run Club

The 80+ members of the Wea Ridge Run Club are quickly approaching 3,000 total miles with 35-40 joining us each day that we meet. Our Wiinter Wolf program is well under way with 4 already meeting their goal of 25 miles and many on their way. Meeting their goal will entitle them to purchase this year's Winter Wolf shirt. The online store is open again until this Friday for those who are interested. Like the Wea Ridge Run Club on Facebook to keep up with us if you can. Thanks again to Mrs. Wright & Mrs. Shively for their assistance. Keep on running Wolf Pack! So, so proud of these 4th & 5th graders

Stay informed of weather delays and closings

Snow, fog and other conditions can cause a delay to the start of our school day. Make sure you are signed up for TSC alerts and notifications so you will be informed about a change in the regular school schedule.

Families can receive instant messages via email or text from the TSC through our website. Click on the "Parents" tab at the top and look for the link to "TSC Alerts & Notifications" with instructions on how to create an account. Make sure you are signed up for the "TSC alerts, delays and closings" option, not just for your school's news and alerts.

A delay or cancellation will also be posted on our websites. You will get a pop-up message as soon as you go to the TSC or any TSC school website.

TSC officials notify numerous media outlets if there has been a change to the regular school schedule. These media outlets include, but are not limited to, 105.3 FM-WKOA, 98.7 FM-WASK, WLFI-TV 18, 96.5 FM-WAZY, Journal & Courier and Indianapolis TV stations.

Several factors are considered when making the decision to delay or cancel school. They include road conditions, temperatures, the ability to safely operate buses and the condition of our buildings and parking lots. To learn more, check out the responses to these Frequently Asked Questions.
