Words from Mr. Simmons...

Thank you to everyone that donated food to our food drive!  We collected a total of 3,011 items!  We raised way more than all of our other years!  Thanks for your participation!  Way to go, Bulldogs!

Thanks to everyone for a great first semester.  We are looking forward to a fantastic second semester.  Please remember that school is back in session for students on Tuesday, January 8th.  We hope that you have a fantastic holiday and that your student has a wonderful break.

- Mr. Simmons, Principal

Stop Sign

Dayton Traffic Alert

The town is in the process of installing stop signs at new locations. We understand that it will take some time to get use too and we will only issue warnings initially. Some of these were previously yield signs. If you travel Market, Conjunction, and Washington Streets, there are now four way stops where they intersect with Main Street. Additionally, a three way stop will be added at Dayton Road and College Street.

Please be aware of the new changes and help us spread the word and share.

The chief reason for these changes was concern for the number children who walk to school or who live and play in the area. There is also a lack of sidewalks in some of the locations that contribute to the problem.

Parents please advise children to use caution also, as drivers will be unfamiliar initially.

If you have questions please call 765-447-2219

Happy Retirement

Congratulations to our music teacher, Mrs. Partlow, who will retire at the end of this semester. We wish her the best in her next adventure. We are actively looking for a new music teacher for the next semester.

Very Important

From The Office

Please note that students can not have flowers, balloons, or candy in the classroom. They are also not allowed to take these items on the bus. Please restrain from sending flowers, balloons, or candy to your child at school. Thank you for your understanding.

Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind (Have a Plan)
Habit 3: Put First Things First (Work First, Then Play)
Habit 4: Think Win-Win (Everyone Can Win)
Habit 5: Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood ( Listen Before You
Habit 6: Synergize (Together Is Better)
Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw (Balance Feels Best)
