KINDERGARTEN ROUND UP 2019

Kindergarten Round Up is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10th. Please save the date and notify anyone with a child that will be 5 years old on or before August 1, 2019 to contact us as soon as possible by calling the office or emailing Mrs. Kochert at dekochert@tsc.k12.in.us. We will begin the registration process now to make sure it is complete before roundup. Parents will need to bring their child's legal birth certificate and immunization record on April 10th! Your child must turn 5 years old before August 1, 2019 to be eligible. If you choose to email Mrs. Kochert please include the following information:

1. Child's full legal name (first, middle, last)

2. Child's date of birth

3. Parent/Guardian's name (first and last name)

4. Mailing address

5. phone number

6. Child's race/ethnicity   

7. Does your child have an IEP?

PARENT TEACHER CONFERENCES

We will be having parent-teacher conferences March 11th-15th, with evening times available on Tuesday, March 12th and Thursday, March 14th. Please remember that these meetings are scheduled back to back so it is very important that you show up on time in order to keep everything on schedule. If you need to reschedule your conference please notify us as soon as possible and understand that spaces will be limited.

IREAD 3

The IREAD 3 test will be a short exam given to the third grade students March 18th-22nd. It is very important that every 3rd grade student is present for this test. Children who do not pass this test will have an opportunity to attend a remedial summer program offered by the TSC. The exam will then be re-administered to those students in June.

BOOK FAIR

The Scholastic Spring Book Fair is coming!! There are books, posters, and other fun things at our book fair. There will also be a Teacher Wish List board where you can choose to buy a book for your child's teacher!

Friday, March 8 - Thursday, March 14 8:30am-3:00pm with additional evening hours Tuesday, March 12 & Thursday, March 14 from 3:30pm-7:30pm

The Book Fair would not be able to happen without parent volunteers to help run the cash register and help guide students with purchases. If you would like to volunteer for the fair, please take a look at the sign up sheet online and see if you can help.
