Dayton Newsletter 12/15/17

Thank you for a wonderful first semester! I know learning about he 7 Habits has made a huge difference in my life and the lives of our students. I look forward to next semester where we can continue to grow as a Leader in Me school.

Next Friday is our last day. Students will return on January 9, 2018. The holidays can bring up all kinds of emotions. My hope for you is that you will take a moment to be thankful for all the blessings in your life. From my family to yours, have a happy holidays. See you in 2018!

Pancakes with Santa and Craft Show

We hope to see everyone tomorrow, Saturday Dec 16 for our Breakfast with Santa. Along with Santa and pancakes we will have a Holiday Craft and Vendor Show in the gym. Breakfast will be from 8:30 am to 10:30 am the craft show will go in till 12:30 pm.

A Reminder From The Office

As it is getting colder please wait in till 8:50 am to drop your child off for school, as our doors do not open until 8:50. Our teachers are in meetings in the morning and there is not adult supervision. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

A Note From The Nurse

*Tis the Season for colds and flu. Please make sure your child is washing their hands regularly, covering their cough and sneezing, and getting plenty of rest.

*The Nurse's office is in need of girls underwear, all sizes. We appropriate your help.

Kid's Closet

The Presbyterian Church here at Dayton offers a Kid's Closet the last Saturday of each month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The Kid's Closet will be closed in December,but will return in January.

*The church is always in need of clothing donations.

Community Christmas Dinner

The Lyn Reece Boys and Girls Club will be providing a free dinner to anyone in the Lafayette community. The dinner will be held at Jefferson High School on Wednesday, Dec 25. Doors will open at 10:30 am. Dinner will be served from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. All children under the age of 12 will be able to visit Santa's toy room and pick out a gift. If you are homebound and unable to come please call 765-420-1647 before 1:00 pm to have meals delivered.

TSC supports "green" efforts and as such to help ensure students receive information about community services or events, flyers from non-profit outside organizations are posted online in a section called E-Flyers. All E-Flyers can be accessed from any TSC School website: www.tscschools.com, by clicking the 'students' or 'parents' link in the upper right hand corner of the webpage. E-flyers will be posted on the 15th and 30th of the month so be sure to check regularly for newly posted information. If your qualifying organization is interested in posting an E-Flyer, go to www.tscschools.com E-flyers section to submit the information.

Free Admission To McCutcheon Basketball Games

Students from all TSC Elementary schools including Dayton will get free admission to the boys and girls JV/Varsity basketball games on Saturday, January 6 with a paying adult. Come support the Mavs. Please see the flyer below for more information.
