Bulldog Jog 5K Color run - Canceled

We are very sad to say the Bulldog Jog has been canceled.  We were not able to get enough RSVPs to be able to host the event. If you have already paid, PTO will send refunds out soon. Again, we are sorry and we hope to be able to do this event next year. 

7 Habits at Home

The Family Learning Team has created a Rockin' It activity for your family to work on. Look for the activity to be sent home on May 4th.

This activity is designed to inspire families to discuss their big and little rocks then work together to Put First Things First!

Dayton Shout Out

Congratulations to Mrs. Wolf, Mrs. Howard, and Mrs. Korty on all receiving funding from Donors Choose. The Kindergarten teachers are working on creating a "Learning Garden" for the kids to learn about nature and life cycles. We are very excited to see this project come together. 

A Note From The Nurse

5th graders will need additional immunizations before the beginning of their 6th grade school year. The additional immunizations are required by the Indiana State Department of Health:

*Hepatitis A- 2 doses
*Meningococcal
*Tdap
 

Dayton Summer Rec

Dayton Summer Rec is having their Field Clean up day on Saturday, April 21 starting at 9:15 am. DSR would appreciate anyone who is able to come help on this day. 

Wainwright Dance Team Call-Outs

The Wainwright Dance Team is gearing up for their 2018-2019 season. This is a great opportunity to make new friends, DANCE, and compete all year round. Experience in dance is not required!

Call-Outs are for any student in 6th, 7th or 8th grade on Monday, May 1st at 6:30pm in the Wainwright Cafeteria.

Try-Out dates will be announced at the meeting.

Are You Moving?

It is that time of year to start looking ahead to the next school year. If you plan on moving and know your child will not be attending Dayton for the 2018-2019 school year please contact the office at 447-5004. It is important for us to know in advanced so we can get class lists in order. Thank you very much!

Mobile Library

The Mobile Library will be visiting Dayton from now through May. There location will be on Nicely Drive from 5:00 pm-5:30 pm on the following dates. Just look for the Mobile Library truck.
