BYOD

Tippecanoe School Corporation provides WiFi access to all students, staff, and approved guests. All traffic and app usage is monitored and recorded. Using the TSC WiFi requires a security certificate to be installed on your device. The below steps should be followed for personally owned devices (not TSC-provided equipment).

Security Certificate Installation Instructions (one time process)

Select the type of device you are using from the menu options below and follow the instructions provided.

Android Devices (phones and tablets)

Please note: You must have a screen pattern lock or password on your device to install the certificate.

  1. Download the certificate here. Open with defaults.
  2. At the Name the certificate screen, give the certificate a name (whatever you like) and press the OK button.

iOS Devices (iPhones and iPads)

  1. Download the certificate here within Safari.
  2. Click the downloaded file and press the Install button. You will be prompted with a warning message that says, "Installing this profile will change settings on your iPhone/iPad." Press the Install Now button.

Mac (OS-X)

  1. Download the installer here.
  2. Open up the archive and run the installer.
  3. In some instances this does not work and a manual install is required using these instructions.

Windows PC

  1. Download the installer here.
  2. Run the installer - you need admin rights on your device to do this.
  3. Firefox users need to manually install the certificate in the browser. Instructions can be found here.

Windows Mobile

  1. Download the certificate here.
  2. Open the certificate and follow the onscreen prompts.

Chrome OS (Personal)

No action is needed for personally owned Chrome OS devices. Please sign in with your TSC account. Private accounts are not supported.
