Kindergarten
Kindergarten 2024-2025
The Tippecanoe School Corporation has opened kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year. Families can contact their school for specific information regarding registration.
- Use the SchoolSearch tool to identify your child's school of attendance.
- TSC's school boundary map (PDF)
- List of our schools and their contact information
In addition to the initial registration process, families will complete online registration in PowerSchool July 8-17, when the corporation opens registration for all grade levels. The school will provide families a username and password for PowerSchool.
Families need to provide to the school the child’s immunization record, proof of residency and legal birth certificate (not the certificate presented by the hospital) or passport. During online registration, families will need to provide emergency contact information in PowerSchool and pay curricular fees.
Once you contact the school, you will begin receiving information about the upcoming school year.
Children must be five years of age on or before August 1, 2024 to be eligible for enrollment in kindergarten. If a parent feels the child is not emotionally mature enough for exposure to the school environment, the family may wait a year before enrolling. If the parent feels the child is ready for kindergarten, but does not meet the birthdate eligibility requirement, the parent may apply to the TSC superintendent. Click here for the Early Entrance to Kindergarten Form. The superintendent will determine admission based on date of birth and space availability. If the office receives more applications than spaces, children whose birthdates are closest to August 1 may be admitted. If no space is available, or it is not in the best interest of the school or children, no early admission will be accepted.

Non-TSC Resident Enrollment Request Form
This form is for families who live outside the Tippecanoe School Corporation boundary but want to attend a TSC school.
TSC attempts to maintain open enrollment at our schools, and we can do so in most situations, however being a growing enrollment district causes us to have to close enrollment at various schools. Currently, all of our schools are open except for Burnett Creek and Woodland Elementary Schools. This means Burnett Creek and Woodland Elementary Schools are not accepting transfer requests unless your child(ren) are current students of those schools.
The deadline to submit a request for the upcoming school year is August 1.
For questions about the form please contact Pamela Flora pflora@tscschools.com / 765-474-2481.
Early Entrance to TSC Kindergarten
Indiana Code 20-33-2-7 establishes a statewide entrance eligibility date for public school kindergarten and stipulates a student residing in Indiana be at least five years of age on or before August 1 in order to enroll in public school kindergarten.
If the child is younger than five years and the parent(s)/guardian(s) of the child wish to enroll the child in the TSC kindergarten program, they may do so by making a request for Early Entrance to TSC Kindergarten. Enrollment for students born after August 1 is limited to existing space.
To request an Early Entrance, you will need to complete the request form. Once a decision is made, you will receive either an approved or denied email.
If you have questions on the form please contact Pamela Flora pflora@tscschools.com / 765-474-2481.
