A Message From the Principal
Parents, Thank you for your consistent support as we celebrate each day of in person learning at BGE/BGI. We appreciate your patience as we all adjust to the protocols that contribute to keeping our students safe! We understand that the car rider line may take a few more minutes, but we have many staff members present for arrival and dismissal times to keep things moving safely. Please DO NOT drop your students off on the side streets in an attempt to avoid waiting a few minutes in line. We have had a few close calls as students cross the streets in traffic. Having to wait in line may take a bit of time, but our student safety is worth it! When we follow the procedures for safety, we send our students a positive message that we will do anything to keep them safe and that everyone should follow guidelines. As always, please call the office for the rare occasions when you need to pick your student up early and we will have them ready for sign out.

Virtual students will have an opportunity to come to BGE to have their Fall pictures and yearbook picture taken from 12:00pm to 1:00 pm on that day. All students who want to have their picture taken would report to BGE. Students will be greeted at the door and escorted to the gym while parents wait outside. We will email a copy of the picture order form for parents to print and bring in that day if they would like to purchase pictures. Paper copies will also be available that day. No purchase is necessary if parents only want pictures taken for the yearbook.

The Tippecanoe School Corporation is excited to announce the launch of its new mobile app, TSC2Go. Available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, TSC2Go provides a convenient option for patrons to stay informed of activities happening throughout the TSC. TSC2Go offers mobile-friendly access to both school and corporation news posts, calendars, staff directory and shortcuts to popular links. All TSC alerts and delays will now go through TSC2Go. The TSC will no longer be sending text message alerts. Schools and the corporation will immediately begin using the app’s push notifications to communicate important information to patrons. After enabling push notifications in the app, users will be prompted to enable notifications for individual schools. Please note that all communication about school delays and closings comes from the corporation, not individual schools. Please be sure to select the “TSC Alerts, Delays and Closings” category to receive these notifications.
Please visit the TSC2Go informational page to access instructions on how to set up and configure settings within the app.

![]() Media Balance and Well-Being From phones and tablets to streaming movies and YouTube, tech and media are everywhere. Kids love easy access to shows, games, and information. Parents and caregivers love that kids can learn on the go (and stay busy when dinner's cooking). But it's easy to overdo it when the phone never stops pinging and the next episode plays automatically. Families can keep media and tech use in check by following a few simple practices.
