2022 student art contest winner named

The TSC Board of School Trustees recognized the winner of this year's student art contest at its May 11 meeting. Wea Ridge Elementary School student Nevaeh Wolf received a certificate and $50 for Best in Show. The third grader’s mixed media creation “Picasso’s Guitar” is framed and displayed at TSC Administrative Offices.
The Student Art Recognition program started in 1990 and rotates between elementary and secondary school submissions. A committee of art teachers and administrators judge the artwork that is submitted by art teachers from each school.
The 2022 art contest runners-up are Brady Lowrey, a fifth grade student from Wyandotte Elementary School and Candace Stafford, a second grade student from Klondike Elementary School.
