New assistant principal named at Wea Ridge Elementary
Sue Scott

The Tippecanoe School Corporation is pleased to announce it has hired Megan Reynolds as the new assistant principal of Wea Ridge Elementary School. She replaces Courtlon Peters who has accepted a position with another school district.

Reynolds comes to the TSC from Warren Central Elementary School with 20 years of teaching experience. She has a master’s degree from both Olivet Nazarene University and Indiana State University and a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University.

“While interviewing, it was immediately evident that Mrs. Reynolds would be a great addition to our school,” says Wea Ridge Elementary School Principal Clint Wilson. “Mrs. Reynolds has prepared for the transition into administration by seeking out leadership opportunities at both her previous and current schools. Her passion for working with students, staff and the school community will help her to be successful as our assistant principal.”

As an assistant principal, Reynolds will be responsible for the school’s positive behavior program, data collection, support staff and other duties at the school of almost 600 students and 75 staff members.

Reynolds is excited to join the administrative team and looks forward to building relationships with students, parents and staff members: “I feel positive relationships are crucial in the success of our school. I want everyone invested in Wea Ridge to feel valued and successful.”

The TSC Board of School Trustees ratified Reynolds’ administrative contract at its May 12 meeting.
