TSC announces remote learning schedule through May 1
Sue Scott

Although school buildings will remain closed through May 1, our students never stop learning. It is our goal to continue providing meaningful learning opportunities for our students while balancing the additional pressures on our families and staff during this unusual time.

The Tippecanoe School Corporation places high priority on the quality of instruction we provide to all of our students and the manner in which it's delivered. We value face-to-face interaction and the relationships established between our students and teachers. In extenuating circumstances like what we’re all facing today, remote learning is considered a viable method for providing instruction and student learning opportunities when face-to-face interaction isn't possible.

The TSC will use a blend of remote learning days and approved student waiver days from the State of Indiana. Remote learning will begin with three days of learning April 1-3. Then, starting April 6 through May 1, we will move to an altered schedule with remote learning occurring every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be reserved for teacher preparation.

More information about remote learning support can be found on the TSC Remote Learning webpage. Additional communication will be shared by school administrators and your child’s teacher in the coming days. If you have any questions, please contact your school principal or your child’s teacher.
