TSC remote lunch program expands to five locations
Sue Scott

The TSC Nutrition Services Department is working diligently to get food to as many families who need them while our school buildings are closed. Due to the overwhelming response, the TSC will expand its grab-and-go lunches from three to five locations starting Monday, April 13.

The new drive-up sites will be Battle Ground Middle School at 6100 North, 50 West, West Lafayette and Wainwright Middle School at 7501 East, 700 South, Lafayette. Lunches will be available from noon until 1 pm at those sites along with the previously announced locations: Tippecanoe County Public Library Wyandotte Branch, Romney Meadows Apartment Homes and Point West Mobile Home Community.

The meals are available at no cost to all TSC students in kindergarten through high school and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The lunch bags will contain a sandwich, fruit, vegetable and milk for five days. Meals must be taken home; no food will be served on site.

Families should look for a white TSC activity van delivering the grab-and-go meals at the three locations. If there is a line, we ask you to maintain the social distancing guideline of six feet.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact TSC’s Food Service Clerk Sue Slickers at 765-269-8435 or srslickers@tscschools.com.
